Meal planning Monday – 2 June 2014

ImageAnother short post this week as I am barely going to be at home so can’t really plan my meals. I have defrosted some beef mince for dinner tonight – not sure yet what I’ll be making but I am thinking of stuffed peppers. Then on Tuesday I have somehow volunteered myself for the Macmillan Cancer Support Lords v Commons tug of war. I am rather petrified about taking part, as Team AXA will be playing a best of three against Team Wimpey for ‘Girl Power’ glory, and I just don’t think I have it in me to help to pull a team of 8 across the line! I do have faith in my team mates though, and regardless of how we perform, it’s going to be an incredible event (held in the grounds of the Houses of Parliament) raising money for an incredible charity. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

On Wednesday and Thursday I will be visiting our Paris office for various meetings, so no idea what I will be eating … although I am sure it will be nice! Andrew is working on Friday and the weekend so I will have to play it by ear a bit. Keep up to date with what I eventually decide by following me on Twitter @CreamCakesRock.

Until then, you can find out more about the charity tug of war on the Macmillan Cancer Support website. Like most people, I sadly know too many who have been touched by cancer, and I know that the support of Macmillan nurses has been the glue that has held families together throughout some very tough situations. I am priviledged to take part in such an event and I hope the team and I raise lots of cash for Macmillan. I am not asking for sponsorship for the event as money is raised through ticket sales and corporate sponsorship, but if you would like to donate to this worthy cause then find out more about Macmillan Cancer by visiting their website.
